Visited Organ Cactus NP, got held up in Holbrook due to a mishap, Canyon de Chelly, Monument Valley, Canyonlands, Yellowstone for the bear season, Cody for the mustangs. Then into Canada to Waterton for the black bears, Victoria for summer. We also took a trip to England and France from Vancouver. Then up to Bella Coola for grizzly bears. Down to Oregon to the Painted Hills and Crater Lake. Into California: Anza-Borrego SP, San Diego, Yuma, Phoenix and Palm Springs. A bit of a mish mash year.

2014
This trip really didn't have any plan, most of it was based on recommendations and then seeing what we could do to fill in time before being at certain places. We started off at the Colorado River with Dale and Shelley, went into New Mexico before getting some work done on the trailer in Utah. Up to the Tetons and Yellowstone to find bears, across to Cody to find wild horses. If we hadn't met up with Klaus, I don't think we would have found them. Across to South Dakota to see the Badlands, Mt Rushmore and Custer State Park. Into Canada to Waterton to to meet up with Jim and Kathy to find more black bear. Kyle introduced us to Kananaskis to find grizzly and black bear and Cochrane to find Great Grey Owls. He introduced us to his father Guy, who invited us to Blind Bay with his wife, daughter in law and grandchildren. So then we made our way across the Vancouver and Victoria, then down the west coast meeting up with Fred & Laura in Seattle, Arnold & Hope in Portland, Rudy & Marilyn in Grant's Pass, Bill & Michele in Salinas, then back to Dale and Shelly in Yucca Valley.

2013
This was a trip to explore the Canadian Rockies and Alaska. Our plans were slightly altered when we decided to upgrade our Dodge Van to a Truck and 5th Wheeler.

2012
Our first trip in the USA, we didn't realise when we arrived that you couldn't just go in a big circle because of altitude, it makes hot places hotter and cold places colder at different times of the year. This trip was made in a Dodge Van and covered many National and State parks. We had also made a booking 4 months beforehand for Yosemite which made us do a big detour.
